Great to read these journals Howard and Evi, how lovely to visit these countries through your eyes and words. And to read Gadi's - Melanie tells me you will be in CA soon, for G's grad. What a fantastic journey!
Thank you for all your blogs you sent us up to now.
I wish you happy landing in SF and wish you a good time in San Rafael.
I was allways happy to get your blogs !
Howie loves his family, howie loves his family.... Awesome pictures, pops. As always. I like the composition of the flower blossoms below the Penn Tower in "Springtime in the city". A very realistic viewpoint.
That family picture is a classic, if there were a category for most classic family pictures, that one would be in the running. Nice pants too, I enjoy your '80s style. But remember, its no longer the 80s. Except for when this new cold war comes around, then it will be the 80s.
Cheers
Do Be Do Be Do Most amazing blog ever, Pops, unfortunately cut short. You're doing a good thing, old man.
Cheers to your photo eye, and not cheers to Jennifer Blow-pez. (get it, she's no good)

I don't know the trick, but I like the picture anyway. -
The story with the bedouine family is very interesting !
Thank you for this as well as for the whole blog.
I know the trick of that first picture.. ...It surely makes the drive through the Arava that much more enjoyable.
Awesome pictures dad, as always, annd mom's are great too. She's a budding talent, a late bloomer.
Happy don't eat any bread week, guys.

Israeli Tapas? Hi to you both from Cynthia, your pictures are wonderful! What a terrific voyage you are on. If you never return to Marin, I'll understand why. I am most intrigued by all the little delectable items on your tray- like an Israeli tapas spread. I want to try them ALL! And what a price... Buon Viaggio : )
Goodness knows where you are now. We look forward to reading your next journal.
Enjoyed Camps Bay. Got a car for three days and visited Winelands etc. Back home now - heavy frost this AM. (got to get back to Tom Wolfe now!)
Hey Howie,
pictures are amazing as usual. Looks like you're enjoying south africa to it's fullest. Make sure you go to the yuppy restaurants in Camps bay, you must hike up lion's head for sunset the views are out of this world. Love the picture of Sani Pass Road, it looks unreal
Pitcures of Leysin Hey Howard and Evi,
Do you have any more pictures of Leysin. What a great place. It's made wonderful memories for me all these years. Clay
Hi you guys!!! Again, TOO MUCH FUN. You could be in the magazine "The Perfect Life" - the way you can EasyJet around. One of my favorite memories is from Alacante, just south of Barcelona. Everything looks so beautiful! I'm having the best vicarious travels with you -- thanks so much for doing your blog. We JUST started our winter here with lots of rain. Happy Chanuka! xox
Wishing I were there Hi Howie and Evi! I sent you a comment earlier but I don't think it posted, so I am sending you another. You stories and pictures are so exciting! I am inspired to travel to the places you have visited! For now I will have to settle for Harrisburg. I am traveling there tomorrow to visit Mommom and take her to Boscov's. If I have time I might create a travel log of my experiences. I am thinking of you often and wishing I were with you! Can't wait to see you again! Send my love to Melanie and Gadiel! Love, Stephanie
