Cool Tree
Hey Ray, Would you mind bringing home one of those cool trees? I think it would look good in the entrance to the showroom. If it's a bit big and too hard to get through customs, maybe you could draw me one and I could stick it on my desk next to your drawing of you 'near' car accident. Hope your having an awesome time, you are both forever making me jealous of my 'chained to the desk' status and will punish you with my own personal countdown when you return.

hey rayman and suepoo! hope you guys are fully recovered soon! chloe was sick in taiwan - it's not pretty being sick in a foreign country. although we found the hospital to be better than what we'd get here! we were there for 3 weeks and only got to the internet once. so coming home has given me heaps to catch up on here!! can't wait to hear more when you get back. my favourite translation-funny in taiwan was in a restaurant which the menu said served "sheet iron mixed seafood" and "according to burns the chicken leg food" and of course "halogen chicken leg food". all of which you can wash down with a refreshing glass of "orange juice with lactic acid".

Great Song
Hi there, I heard a fantastic song the other day, they were playing it over and over again on TV, it went something like this: "We are Geelong, the greatest team of all, We are Geelong, we're always on the ball, We play the game as it should be played, At home or far away, Our banners fly high, from dawn to dark, down at Kardinia Park." (REPEAT SEVERAL TIMES). By the way Ray, Geelong won the grand final. GO CATS! Oh, and the Broncos got slammed by the Storm. Garrett must have been crying for sure.

Sounds like you'r having a great time
Hi guys, Wow, some of your blogs have bought back lots of memories. Just thought I would say for the fifteenth time (in case you don't remember). . . I'm so jealous! I actually saw Maos' embalmed body and if you look at one of his ears really closely you can see the stitch marks where they had to sew it back on, cos if fell off a few years back. He's really freaky. I also empathise with you over being sick. Sue, I lost six kilos in six weeks when I was there, thanks to some dodgy Beijing Kao Ya and Sweet 'n Sour Pork. The Summer Palace took my breath away too, such extravagance and all at the expense of tax payers! The lake was frozen when I was there which was cool. Well guys, I hope you keep having an awesome time and that you both get better soon. And remember, not all karaoke bars are 'karaoke' bars, if you get my drift :o)

I strongly resent that comment about Melbournians!!!! And yes, having lived here for nearly 7 years I think I can count myself among the number! We Melbournians are an intelligent, CULTURED set. ;) Sorry you guys aren't feeling well. Give our love to Kate and Lloyd. xxx Jane

Too cool for a title.
I am really jealous of your adventures! and as equally jealous of not being at work for 2 months! I have never really been so inspired to go to china before, but now all i want to do is be a tourist like you guys! And finally our travel agent has regurgitated the quote which I am so sure he ate in a passion of hunger and we have settled and booked our flights for my trip. So really I don't have to be jealous of because I will be a gay tourist as well, and in only 17 weeks! Enough of these !!!!!!! for you?

You're totally right, the apartments are depressing to look at. All part of the charm. At least China actually does have culture!!!
6th September 2009

No offence, but the block of flats in the picture behind Lloyd's bike reminds me of the high rise commission flats in Melbourne! However, Melbourne has a lot of culture, so I guess it's ok. Stay out of the fountains Ray. The prisons over there wouldn't be very good.
