What an experience! Hi Guys! We've been keeping up with your travels. The pictures are fantastic and journal entries interesting - not boring. What a great way to keep track of everything and keep us all updated. Will continue to check in on your progress. My ears perked up when I heard the word kayak. Have fun, take care and enjoy this wonderful, lifetime experience!
P.S. Must admit Brett, it took me a few minutes to figure out who the guy with the beard was!
Pam called for supper I can't take time to say much because Pam is waiting on me but sure enjoyed catching up with you two and I won't be around for the next 3 wks so will catch up again later. Love mom
Ironman/woman! Thanks for keeping in touch Vickie! So good to hear from you, your adventures and the beautiful pictures.....can't believe what great shape you are in! Way to go! Have fun and keep pedalling!
making progress Looks like your getting into a groove. It's awesome to see all the places you've been, and that you still get to enjoy the tourist things. My brother while biking in Europe enjoys a night in a hotel after making it half way up a huge hill. He said it revived him to get the rest done. It's important to remember even if you have a tent you don't always have to sleep in it.
I am envious though about the biking since I'm having problems sitting on the couch, and in my car, for that matter sitting at all. I miss Vicki's magic fingers.
Only a month to go and I'll send some pictures. Hopefully sooner, I'm itching for 2 weeks early, but I'll take a week, then soon I'll be back on my bike with a chariot behind!!
Brett and Vicki Just thought I would let you know I'm keeping track of you too. Looks and sounds like you're having the experience of a lifetime. Really enjoying the pictures and updates. I must admit Brett, at first it took me awhile to figure out who the guy with the beard was!
Happy Easter and take care.

Photo entry Brett, there is a gay pride day coming up here in Ottawa and I am really thinking about entering your pictures....especially the rose sniffing....do you mind? I'll split the winnings with ya! Great seeing your softer sensitive side buddy!
Brett's getting a beard! No wonder we don't see you at the curling rink anymore, hope you are having fun, good luck I hope you come back soon. Vicki, good luck, I like all the pretty pictures, hope to see you soon. Take care. PUNK
Roses!!! You know roses are my very favourite. Beautiful pictures. Must say I'm glad it's you guys and not me doing this cycle thing. Would love to see the country. Maybe some day.
long time no see! Hey Vick! Just finally looked at your blog today (Apr 2). Pam sent the link about a week ago. So cool that you could do something like this, it's kinda been a thing I'd like to do, at least something similar. When are you supposed to come home, so maybe I could phone you? You know, catch up on the last six or seven years! Keep the pics and stories coming!
Reply to hotsprings and hostels Happy to hear that everything is going well for you. Must be exciting to see the different scenery and people as you travel through the countryside. The pictures are fantastic; would make very nice travel posters to advertise New Zealand! Swimming with the dolphins must have been an unforgettable experience; not something we'd be able to experience on the good old Prairies. Take good care and are looking forward to your next blog entry!

Considering our poor contributions to the world of science, research or anything even close to "techy" Vic, we sure have relied on it lots hey! Miss you of course but couldn't be happier for you both. Lots of love from Andre. As always, impressed with Brett's beard.
