Memories My boyfriend and I used travelblog when we travelled to South-East Asia a couple of years ago. We are starting to plan our next trip and as I got overwhelmed with wrapping my head around new places (as I sit in my cubicle in Canada ... shh) I figured I would come back to travelblog to reminisce about the places we have been. This is a great blog! An Bang beach was also our favourite in Vietnam. We had originally allotted 2 nights for Hoi An but once we found that piece of paradise we extended our time there to a week. I hope you both the best, safe travels! XO Becs
pray to kill - too funny.. The boy was probably talking about goddess Sarasvati (the only goddess of knowledge), goddess Kali (pray to kill) or god Shiva (pray to kill) - quite a few gods in this category now that i think about it..hmm...
Keep on keeping on.... Liv'n the dream I see. Keep em coming, looks like a grand adventure. Say hello to Klaudia for me. Can't wait to have a beer and here the stories when you're back.
not saint enough :) Hey Tony! Your foot must have been the sinful one to be refused the holy right to step on the Adam's peak ;) No footprints left :( But at least you were sent on a syrup ride with what were their faces? Vishnu and Ganesh? hihihi... great story!
Hugs! Tony, don't you dare stop writing! It is awesome to read about where you guys just went, what you saw, experienced and that you are ok! Hugs to both of you!
Supply and demand will get you every time Sounds like you had a few hallucinogens in the syrup. Wish you could have gone back the next morning. Never turn down the best curry and rice....even in a dream.
Great fish photo! We will continue to follow your travels as our trip has just ended and we want to know what others are up to. We are living in Santa Rosa, CA for a few months so we may do some blogging about wine country.
Yeah... ...we'll have to do a little better with this. Every time we're on our way to eat, we remind ourselves to take a picture, then, by the time we actually remember to take the picture, we've eaten our food...
Needing a map We have found that sometimes you can stop in a fancy hotel and ask for a map. Just pretend you are one of their guest and they will give it to you.
Hello K and T, I've stumbled on your blog this morning and plan on reading the rest of them while sipping my coffee. As a believer in blogging I can tell you why to stick with it. 1) Your friends and family will appreciate knowing what you are up to more than you think. 2) Many bloggers on travel blog are addicted to reading other blogs to assist us in planning or to remind us of a fantastic trip we once had. 3) When we returned we turned our blogs into a book and it has become treasured. 4) It is always good to keep up with new technology and media forms. 5) And most important-- you will find the people on the travel blog community are a friendly bunch and truly interested in what you are up to. Happy travels.
