مَرْحَبًا, My stay in Oman is almost over...unfortunately! It was really great! I've been out for diving two days ago, which was gorgeous...lots of fish, lobsters, sting rays, torpedo rays, hugh morays and so on... I had a traditional Omani day yesterday. First Fahad and I went to the desert and stayed with the Beduins, then we drove along the coast line visiting different Wadi's. We saw some Egyptian vultures. Afterwards I was invited to the traditional oman wedding of Momos sister, which was a great experience. Journey and first day in Muscat

Hi! I finally arrived in Muscat after a quite adventurous journey. I took the A380(!!) from Auckland to Sydney and it was supposed to fly to Dubai after this stop. But unfortunately there was some kind of gas lack at the terminal we were supposed to departure. So they evacuated 900 people and 12 people were even treated medically at the airport. After a few hours of waiting they finally canceled the flight and we were transfered to different hotels in Sydney, where we finally arrived at 3 am. The next morning we were transfered back to the airport at 8 am, where we finally restarted the journey after some delay... Paleotological Excursion

Kia Ora! I arrived in New Zealand on Friday and went on a two-days paleontological excursion with Michael. After working at the Uni we always drive down to the beach to take a look at this stunning ecosystem and its inhabitants. We even saw three yellow eyed penguins, one of the most rarest penguins! Anyway, see my pictures! The weather's pretty cold, at least compared to my last stops (with up to 35 Degrees Celcius). Hey! I'm waiting for the taxi to the airport at the moment. Will fly to New Zealand and meet with Michael. So I thought I could use the time to give you a short update. Adelaide was really nice. Friendly people, hot weather and a nice beach. I just uploaded some pictures Wolfgang and me've taken at the Cleveland Wildlife park. We even fed the Wallabies and the Emus (those were more interested in the whole bag than actually what we've given them.
