Turtle Project Well done for sticking the week at the project. Think we would hae left once we saw the shed. Good for you Dan, maybe your comments will encourage them to improve the protection.
A small confession Dani being the simple sole that she is got things a bit mixed up. In fact it was she that took the photos of the birds, I can only claim credit for the Yucatan Jay. She went mental when she realised what she´d done, not that shes possessive of her photos or anything!
Re: Photos I have to be honest here as Dan actually took the bird pictures on this blog entry (with my camera though), so I can´t accept the credit! A couple of the sunset ones were also his...he´s not as useless as he looks!
Good to hear from you! Hi Grandma,
Glad you´re enjoying the blog. In Costa Rica at the mo, which is amazing for birds.
Will be in touch soon.
Love
Dan and Dani
Muscle man Good to hear from old boy. You´re comments were truly touching. You´ll be pleased to hear that the swelling from the tatoo´s has resided and they look pretty good (photo´s to follow). Wouldn´t dream of delving into what may have happened on that infamous afternoon when you disappeared for several hours to the `beach with no name´with our delightful friend Andi. When the time is good and right, i´m sure all will be revealed.
Thanks for taking the time to pollute our blog with your `verbal diaherra´it is most welcome and was much enjoyed....didn´t realise aussies were capable of such wit.
Anyhow, enough for now.
Hope you´re keeping well and we look forward to hearing from you.
Take Care

The shaven one Cheers Simon. Could do with some support after Scottie´s onslaught! He had our folks worried for a bit then. Hope things are going well for you guys and we´ll definitely be in touch when we get back. Been in the Costa Rican Jungle for the last week so apologies for the delayed reply.
Take Care

Miss you all and will keep in touch..............x

I'm on my way to that Lake!! So, how do I go about getting a season ticket for this place?
Excellent blog update D's - brilliant photos as ever (particularly those fish!!)
Leeches Andy mentioned your journal. You're certainly having a great tour. A tip about leeches : a lit cigarette, tobacco juice or salt will persuade a leech to let go. Other than that, wait until it has had its fill of your blood when it will drop off after about 10 minutes! Pulling them off is not recommended as it will tear your skin and could make a nasty sore.
Must say that we could think of better things to do while on holiday than sitting in a hotel room watching the cricket!! Still, it's a best of 3 final series - 2 things are certain. One - that Australia will have its revenge! Two - that you'll be spending two more days in the hotel room (it won't be over in the next match). Of course, we could be wrong !! Oh, by the way - pop on to the BBC website - interesting opening paragraph on the state of English Football - “England woefully underperformed to slip to their first home defeat under coach Steve McClaren in an international friendly against Spain at Old Trafford”. Please don't look up the web to find that Australia lost 3-1 to Denmark. All the best, Mark & Felicity
let's face the moooo-sic and dance hey there you two - it sounds as if you're having a splendid time - wow - amazing stories from bandh.... - good to see the transfer of luck travelled with you!! have fun in kerala - keep an eye out fo otters! hope you are both well and healthy. lots of love hannah and charlie
mmmmm milkshakes When you get to Palolem make sure you go to the Casa Fiesta to have the best chocolate milkshake of your life. The food is also great.
We took a dolphin trip and found it more than worthwhile. We found 5.00pm a great time as you come back when the sun is setting. Lucie says be prepared to get wet.
Lucie also thinks your haircut was a mistake and hopes it wasn't too expensive!!
Hope you enjoy Goa. Felicity
Wow! Hi dan, dani. Hope your both doing well. You appear to be having an amazing time and having just returned from three tedious hours in a lecture, iam very envious in reading what you have both been up to.
