You're one crazy Canadian! Sorry we missed you in the States Fi, maybe in NYC in a couple of months? We've returned to Guatemala getting an exhibition together but Josie's caught a bad bug so we might check out soon. Your travels in California and Nevada make you look like a different person to the girl we met in Argentina! Very entertaining, Chris was a lucky guy to travel with you!! Where are you now? Email us, we don't want to loose touch!! Love Eddie and Josie

As someone with fond memories of Flagstaff, Sedona and GC it brought it all back reading your descriptions. I cant believe all the places you've been and i wonder where the next few destinatiions will be? Keep rocking, Coffeecat! Hi Fiona,
Your American adventures are sort of anticlimactic after the previous adventures. It makes me realize how comfortable we all are living here in North America. I'm looking forward to next Thursday. Thank God you changed your ID photo the new one is a great improvement.
Ian

Hostel Route 66 I hope everybody heading over to New Mexico does spend some time with Paul and Cathy at the the hostel, they seem to know the area and can educate all of us at the same time! And as the grouchy staff member has moved there is more to smile about!!
Ellusive New Mexico Fiona,
Sometimes its tough for a small hostel to provide service arround the clock, but we need at least to be polite about it! As for New Mexico, there is much to be discovered here, but it takes work. We have the best varves in the world. Our ancient pueblos are really special, but the inhabitants may be rather secretive, yet friendly ( paraphrase of a pueblo leaders recent comments). Thanks for your brief visit, photos are great!
sounds like you're still having fun! hi Fiona - i enjoy your writing as well as the many great photos posted. I have been back to reality for last 6 weeks and am working like a good boy. It was fun trekking with you to macchu pichu. Hope you can mail me some of the photos from the trek when you get back home again. Love - karsten
reality check since when is $45 a night for a hotel room astronomical? wait til you get back to London or New York where they start in the hundreds!
anyway hope i will be seeing you for real soon so can you let me know when your eta for london is? miss you and can't wait to hear all about it first hand.....much love....pleasure
Hop Skip and a Jump to Home Hi Fiona; How are you keeping, aside from busy that is?! We can hardly believe that you're on the tale end of your long journey. What an amazing experience you've had. We are looking forward to seeing you and thank you so much for your ongoing cards and presents to Miss Chips. She adores the finger puppets you recently sent - thank you. Looking forward to our next meeting when you hop, skip and jump your way back to Vancouver. We just had a visit from your mum and Ian this past week. They are looking great and although it was a short visit, it was really nice seeing them. Take good care of yourself. Love Chris, Doug and Ev
Comment from me re:photos Rustin Gooden has some amazing wildlife photos of life in the Evergaldes and by contacting the hostel in the Everglades I'm sure he could sort out that empty space on your wall!
Are you still in Florida? Any chance you are still in Florida? If so, I would love to hook you up with my cousins on the West Coast.
I LOVE your journal! Hope to see you soon.

Thanks also for the great stamps, and postcards, from all over that you've been sending to Evy. She's always so excited to receive mail and when she gets a bit older she'll appreciate the stamps all the more.
Enjoy the last leg of your journey, you've got memories to last a lifetime.
