Awe Christy, oh my god, I am about to cry or laugh or cry, just watching you there with the kids. That is amazing, sad, and hopeful all in the same vain. I am proud of you, please keep us posted so we can feel connected just a bit to that little boy.
Wow! I'm seriously in tears here, really makes me what to just shut down and head on over to join you, or at least send a box of stuff for the kids in the meantime. What a wonderful thing you are doing!
Give me an address My boy's have way too many clothes. I will send a box immediately.
Christy, hooray for you. I am so proud to know you.
Please note a change of e-mail address. I am leaving my current job this Friday and I don't want to miss any of your amazing blogs.
Christy Cousteau I spell jealous: CHRISTY FOLEY, would it be irresponsible to ditch my children & husband for a blog entry w/ you??? Keep enjoying!!

Good times I loved looking at your photos, brought back some excellent memories, and thank you for the credit too.
The underwater ones look amazing, loved the Miguel one, and I love the 'Impressions' picture. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful place That palace is beautiful! That creature/statue guarding it is a little frightening though! haha..Beautiful pics Christy! You're such a lucky girl:)
The bodies Exhibit Christy, that IS an amazing exhibit, isn't it? I'm glad you got to see it. The expertise of the anatomists is astonishing. Not to mention the arteries?! I saw while in NYC for school. A requirement and very well worth going too.
homesick Hi Christy!! I loved the picture of the Lisbon "Golden Gate Bridge". It made me miss home. After a month in Peru, Brian and I just crossed into Bolivia. Your trip looks like it has been amazing. Portugal is somewhere I have always wanted to go. I can´t wait to hear and see info on Africa. Be safe.
love, sarah
Sevilla Isn't it the most gorgeous place?? When we were there in May, we landed in the middle of one of the biggest festivals. You couldn't even find a place to park, so we had to keep moving on to Jerez. All the horse and traps were magnificent and the ladies in their wonderful dresses, so spectacular. I get the feeling they know how to enjoy the live. Hope to get to spend a few days there soon. Get some good pics of the dolphins please.. and be careful... x
Sevilla Your blog brought back a lot of "old" memories. I loved Sevilla (also my favorite city in Spain) it is so romantic. Great place to walk around. When I was there I also enjoyed the Flamenco dancers (I'm sure they are not the same ones) They create such fabulous music with all their stomping, clapping and yelling. Really gets you going. Love you and thank you for letting us travel with you.

Sevilla I am so glad you made it there. So glad you liked the Casas de la Juderia too..we enjoyed it so much. Safe travelling...can't wait to hear about the dolphins.
Thanks, Christy! I finally figured which comment line to use to write back. I have really enjoyed your travels and look forward to the next installments. Love your picture tours, some really great ones in Barcelona and also Alhambra. I'm really interested in seeing these places so this has been wonderful. Keep dancin and singing and having fun. Love Jess
The Zone Ug - the"the Zone." So bizarre! Seems were there so long ago (not just a week) ... thankfully my tan is standing the test of time (and the great raining Brit summer weather). Hope all is well with you and see you soon in London!!
Vicariously Since I've been on crutches literally all summer, (Achilles), your travels and photo journalism have sustained me. Wonderful adventure - Keep on posting!
Amazing Wow, the architechture is so similar to what we saw last year in Marrakesh. You really should try to go there when you are done in Africa. It is so amazing the new places you have seen. I am always so thrilled to see how much beauty there is in the world. It is a shame we take so little time to enjoy it. But thanks for sharing it with us!
hi honey Just want to send you a big hug and tell you thank you for letting me follow you on your adventures! They bring back a lot of memories for me too... THe park in Madrid brings such relief from the heat doesn't it!? Toledo has amazing roasted baby lamb! Wish I was there with you, Sending Much Love,
Renee
We're so jealous!!!!! Spain really seems wonderful. I was there 44 years ago (happy to see it's still there). The Dali pictures of his home were wonderful. We have two signed and numbered lithographs in our home but no eggs in them. Anxious for you to get to Africa.
Love and we're proud of you,

The journey continues . . . As many of you have predicted and requested, the traveling and the travel blog continues. I'm heading back to London with a three month ticket. I have no plans yet, just a bunch of ideas, but I'm looking forward to seeing where I end up and enjoying my last hoorah before going back to a mortgage paying US Citizen again.
