Thanks Don. Might just take your advice on the jewelry. :) France is my favorite country, too. I enjoy the language challenges. They add to the adventure. and Mary - I think it is totally because we were Americans! And to be fair, we looked like bums. T

A lot of restaurants only cook with fresh food and buy only for what they'll use that night, so it's possible they only bought groceries for their reservation diners. Or, they could have discriminated against you because your obnoxious Amer
