Room with a view Brian-I know there are no words of consolation except that you are in our hearts. Soak in the scenery as you reflect. I know there is no greater perspective than the one that comes from the great outdoors. It would seem that the pop up with provide an excellent view and I look forward to getting a glimpse of it in future messages. I miss your face. -c
Thank you for sharing Bryan! I am so glad to hear from you again. I am thinking of you a lot and sending you light. (feeble that it is from dark grey Tacoma) Good journey in your pop up 6 sleeper. Thank you for sharing your beautiful heart with me still. I am sorry about your loss. Be well. -a
I can't get over how much you look like your mom....something about the eyes, the smile. You are definitely of her. Enjoy the Grand Canyon - rest in nature and let grief wash over you as you begin to move forward again.
you open yourself to experiencing life, and to connecting to people..some you've known forever..some you may only know for a few moments. My sense of this is that the period of resting up, slowing down, opening your eyes and heart, was a gift, so that you could be open and present for your mom and family during her last days. I am so sorry for this sudden end of your mother's life.
horses, fishing and a little patch of land I would love to go on a pack trip with horses, with a guide who didn't talk too much, and then only said kind and intelligent things. And I want to learn to fly fish, and I want to have a cozy house on a little bit of land, close to trails where I can roam with my dog. And I want to tend a flock of chickens and a small orchard and a garden. I want for my home to be a magnet that draws my nephews and my daughter home for visits.
I am so sorry for your loss. God, Be with this family now and hold them in your grace to sustain them all in this time of sacred transformation. Breathe for them and be them so they remain loving and well. Cradle gently all hearts and see to everyone's needs.
Amen
Sending love Bryan, your whole family is in our prayers. Your mom was a wonderful woman and blessed all those whose lives she touched. You have our love.
So sorry for your loss Bryan, Natalie and I send our support. We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Please let us know if there is a charity that your mom supported that we could help out with a donation in her name.
Healing Prayer/Thought for Ginny I would like to propose that at 7pm Washingtonian time tonight through Wednesday everyone who can - spend 15 minutes sending prayerful, healing thoughts in Ginny's direction, and Bryan's too.
24/7 I am praying and praying and not affiliated with any church. Every day I say a prayer of gratitude for all that I have been given and I am praying for Ginny. Gods will be done. Amen
prayers are with you Hi Bryan:
I was just catching up on email from the week and was distressed to read your notes. I'm so glad you are able to be there with your mom. Kevin and I will hold you and your family in our hearts and prayers, that God will fill you all with grace in this difficult situation.
Blessings!
Corina and Kevin
Keep hanging in there Natalie and I let the Tahoma Audubon board know what was going on last night, so you have more allies praying for a healthy recovery for your mom. Keep hanging in there...
Thoughts and prayers I'm so sorry your mom's going through such a hard time; it's good you can be there with her, and I hope you have the support you need as well. I will be praying for all of you.
Prayer God be with Bryan's family at this challenging time. Give all of them the strength to face what is to come and the love and grace to support each other. Amen
I am so sorry to hear of this Bryan, it is painful to hear about the health issues your mother is facing. You and your mom have the prayers of Natalie and I. We hope that she is able to pull through this difficult time.
Aaaah, Sedona Bryan, even the digital photos are a great reminder of one of the most striking and stunning places in the US (most of Alaska excluded, of course!) It's awesome to read about your adventure, especially about places I've lived! I'd love to see you once you "cross the pond"--meet you in Ireland or kidnap you to Germany... Sounds like a great trip already. (Not sure how you'll live in Ireland for three months sans Guinness though!!) Love, SP
Sun! Hi Bryan,
The pictures of you in the sun are almost too much for me to bear! It has been raining cats and dogs here except for two days earlier this week. Thanks for all of the updates...it's fun to watch you progress on your journey. Love, Jen
Are you kidding? LA is great! Here are some things I love about LA: really good dim sum, the Huntington Museum and The Getty Museum, the Tar Pits (really, how could you not like a city where right in the middle of town is a giant natural pit of tar that has eaten prehistoric animals alive?). Oh, I also like the evenings, the hills of LA, hiking the hills of LA in the evenings. You'll just have to go back there Bryan! Glad you got to spend time with your brother.
Combining three 'must do before I die' imperatives I will be taking a 5 month sabbatical in 2006. Staying in a destination long enough to learn the texture of daily life, long distance bike touring, and a personal photo sojourn in Ireland all mix to make this my mid-life crisis (some thought I would go for the red sports car). For two months I will travel by bike and Amtrak across the US to visit family, friends, and the great outdoors. Then it is off to Ireland for three months for the sole purpose of making all of you jealous. All this without eating wheat, rye, barley, oats, dairy, or s... full info
