Mumbai Hi Carole In Mexico at the moment, can sleep, bloody jet lag! Read your blog and can take the smile off my face. I am creating a visual picture in my mind and it sure makes me wish I was traveling too!!! Good luck
WoW! Hiya Bird
Sounds like quite some experience already. Such a lot to make comment on.....and that virgin at 39 sounds like a challenge for the Baker..... Keep the blogs coming - lovin' em - and piccies when you get a chance.
Not going to bore you with any detail from Blighty - just one thing....Catherine and yourself succeeded in getting LIghter own label launched in JS - launching a mild and mature O'L 400g from April next year.
Take care you and update soon

OMG You've already crammed so much in darl. Sounds like a great start to your trip. Keep the blogs coming and making us jealous. Took your parting advice. LOL Bunty xx
Taking a dump Hey Baker,
Thanks for the blog. I'm in Oswestry and it's raining so that message has brightened up my whole day, keep em comin!
Glad you're having fun. Do you think I would get told off if I took a dump in the corridor in Oswestry?
Rosco
Hey carole, I love the way you write, you have made me laugh out loud. I like to write and take ridiculous amounts of pictures to, so at least we have that in common. I see from your page that we are also travelling to some other of the same places, how cool. Redundancy sucks, but longggggggg extended, beach/beer/temple vacations rock!
Keep me posted! Sooooo envious! Keep the blogs coming thick and fast will be in need of something to get me through Monday mornings and winter weather. Enjoy it hun!
Obviously !!!!! Of course I want to hear everything, in fine detail, but that might have to wait until you get home!! Hopefully this blog will show more curries rather than pigs ears and bull penis !!! Whoop whoop, can't wait for the first installment!!!

Count me in!! Hi Carole - you're soooo jammy, 3 months in India eh?!! Fantastic, I'm sure it'll be (another!) adventure of a lifetime, I'm very envious. (but too nervous / lazy to do it myself!)
You might want to send updates to my hotmail account, not sure how long I'll be at Gilchrist to be honest - and wouldn't want to miss a thing.

true account! carol! carol! carol!!!! i can't help but be tickled by the earthly account of this adventure.... i love that way you have written about the very details of your travel... from my own personal experience... nothing writes as truthful and very realistic than this... pls. readers... be encourage to write a more realistic-true-to-life account in your travel escapade.... this will give you the true essence of the place! kudos to you!
Hi Hi Carole
Just read your blog to date, dead funny, you should be on the stage(maybe a stand in for Pam Ayres when she retires!).
Sounds like you're having a blast. Looking forward to seeing the photos when you're back( I've booked a couple of months off work for the occasion).
Hope you carry on with the good work in China, and bring the Baker/Watson style to the local yokels.
Look afta my baby sis for me, and enjoy every minute.
Luv

Arctic Monkeys...$200?...no. CB, I'm enjoying reading your stories and Lucy and I sure are jealous...fair shout, you are a proper globetrotter.
However, I have to stress my concern at the Arctic Monkeys article you wrote. Not sure if the heat is getting to you, but being prepared to pay $200 to see a couple of spotty 16 year olds (they are 16), that have only released 3 songs is lunacy. I'm sure the Auzzies get excited about English bands because all their music is sh*t, so I can see how things get out of hand when a half-decent band turns up...but for god's sake man, pull yourself together.
Oh, and I quite liked the Green, stripey jumper. I thought stripes were trendy at the moment!?...are you taking drugs!?
Anyway, your stories are ace so keep them coming and look after yourself.
Cheers,
Dan x
new envious reader Hi Carol, really enjoying reading about your travels, strange really, as I'm sat at my P.C it's 11.40pm,it's dark, chilly and pissing with rain!
Enjoy!Love Mark Pyles.
More spandex tops please Can we have some photo's of the girls with spandex tops dancing to cotton eye joe!
I'm getting more envious of your new free-living, traveling lifestyle every time I read these!
Keep it going
Chris
You lucky son of a gun! Hi Carole
Sounds fantastic, don't forget to do the bungee jump over the shotover afterall you are in the country where Mr Hacker invented bungee jumping.
Regards Bruce
So, I have my redundancy (hooray) and am off on my travels again. This trip will last four months and I aim to take in a little bit of Malaysia (for the beach), New Zealand and Australia (for the beer, BBQs, extreme sports and handsome guys) and China (for the hell of it)!
Having said that, on my trip around South America I managed to more or less ignore my planned itinerary, going in and out of Argentina three times, missing out huge parts of Chile and swinging through Columbia.
Hopefully this travel-blog will keep you up to date with my adventures as and when/where they happen.
