So... I have been meaning to get into this travel blogging malarky for some time. As with pretty much every traveler throughout the world I carry with me my trusty Lonely Planet but have found on more than one occasion that the information in there just isn't up to scratch. Weather it is the information in the book being incorrect or the simple fact that everyone has one and it encourages a certain tourist trail I thought it would be fun to get this started. So here I am sat in a hostel in KL, after already traveling for nearly 8 months, thinking it was about time I put up some of my views and experiences up in word form in the hope that it helps, amuses and encourages other travelers to deviate from the path a little or try a hostel they haven't heard of before. If I am not doing that I will ensure to try and get you to the best spots I have found and avoid the worst.

So the reason for the title of my blog you are all asking! Well here it is... I HATE trekking! Each time I do it I realize how much I didn't like it last time and just find myself wondering why oh why I chose to get myself in this situation again. As a result of avoiding trekking at all available costs I have found a plethora of other activities to amuse myself through my time traveling.
