Deepest Thailand Hey Gary, Thanks for following me and your loverly wife. I am exhausted from it all not sure if its emotion or being with a 25 year old commando in what he is doing, there is so much more I cannot mention and doing when I return I will give yo a ring.
And tonight in the middle of nowhere met a 45 year old lady from BOLDER working for a charity helping people here to on the mental hurt side, Matt is following up to help those on my story on the land mind victims which I have to write up tomorrow.
Best Anthony
We are so blessed What an eye-opening trip that you are being taken on and how much I am learning about what Matt is doing and what he is contributing to these amazing people who have so little compared to what we expect and take for granted. This really is an education for all those of us who are reading this and very humbling. Thank you Matt for showing us and Dad what you are really doing and please take care, you are so precious and we love you xx
Burma beats the Atkins Diet! WOW ANT! Life sounds a bit tough during your first weeks of travel for a try Thames Valley Boy.
Must be fascinating seeing how Matt is operating there - he has all my respect for hisgrit and determination - pls send him my best wishes. (Was the frog in the bathroom tasty?)
Fortuantely you will be wel toughened up for your visit to Chile with me as your accompanier - but do't worry, I treat you gently as I get you back into deep soft matresses, gorgeous red wine and tasty beef steaks once again...
Just make sure you don't bring anything nasty that you may pick up over there with you!!
See you in Santiago,
Have fun and love to you and Matt.

It seems a million miles away from life here!! Matt please do not lead your father astray, remember he is not as young as he thinks and his heart can't take too many girlie bars!! The beers and the food will be enough of a strain!! Have fun, am enjoying the pics and the updates xx

Starving Hey Mate, you're going to starve looking for Big Macs in the outback of Thailand. Try the food, you'll learn to love it. Remember it is not good Thai unless the top of your head sweats.
Love the blog and pix. Keep them coming.

mosquitos the size of vultures Yo, Dude! Just to say I'm all logged on to follow your tales of derring do. Actually hissing down here again today you'll be pleased to hear. Trust the patented anti-mossie tropical gear is impervious to the beaks of the Chiang Mai vulture strain in that 13 quid guesthouse. (Very character-building all this - perhaps you'll have an epiphany and eschew all 1 star plus hotels from now on. Yeah, right!)
Regards to Matt. Take care.
Sue, we've got to stop meeting like this. The thought of you with all those builders sends me all tingly...
Grandpa and Desmond Grandpa spend 3 years in the Burmese jungle for the RAF clearing runnways so the planes could land with weapons etc and Desmond worked on servicing for trucks and jeeps.
Strange thing was they both missed each other many times and never knew until after the war they were in Burma together, Grandpa was doing the forward work and Desmond the follow thru.
Dad always felt he got his cancer from changing breakpads that were made of aspestos in those days.
Big adventures start tomorrow have learnt a lot from Matt today.
Remember your skype real easy will take 2 mins, it is free between computers so do your lap top, can also talk to boys at school.
I have Grandpas metal trunk and the teak casing all in the roof, has his name and details all pinted on it.
Love Ant
