Arambol 7th - 16th November 2007 The second leg of our journey took us to Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Victoria Station) the busiest train station in all of Asia. As we arrived at 6.30am we were greeted by hundreds of men, workers, filing off the trains ready to start their day's work in Mumbai. The train station itself is an amazing Gothic building and it apparently has influences from Hinduism, Islam and the Victorian Era and it is a tourist attraction in itself. After we found our platform and found where we were meant to board we had to sit and wait for our train. The time the train was due to depart came and went and we sat listening to the tanoy system, trying to decipher what they were trying to tell us about our train.
