We've been busy so I will write this in retrospect! We left Sydney and winter pretending to be summer, passed through Singapore where it was just hot and just over a day later arrived in London where summer is pretending to be winter! Actually when we arrived at 7am it was quite warm and sunny and stayed reasonably good all day, just not as warm as Sydney. We took 3 trains to our hotel in Greenwich, 2 underground and a DLR or docklands light rail. In the afternoon we checked out Greenwich peir and the Cutty Sark and took another couple of trains to visit the Olympic stadiums and village where they are busy training all the workers. Busy day today and great weather! Took train to city, an hours ride, then ferry to Manly. Had lunch on Manly Beach then ferry back to Circular Quay and a walk through the Botanical Gardens before the hour ride home on the train.
