Alas, no time for Vancouver Island. It will have to wait until the next time.

....the only way to do Stanley Park is on roller blades! You really must try it before you come home! OK, a tandem's good too! i'll be asking questions when we next meet. Are the raccoons still there? Enjoy!

Hurrah! So wonderful to have you here, Alan - and we miss Hamish too! We had a very lovely evening with you too. Glad all those holidays to France "training" have been put to good use.

It was either an exhibition by this guy that I saw at Kew Gardens or somebody was impersonating him and his works. Fantastic.

Heel benieuwd wat je allemaal gaat doen in Seattle! Ga je ook naar de Boeing fabriek? Dat staat wel op ons lijstje.

The main course ( under the foil) was beef cheek and it was delicious. We flew economy, as Hamish's work paid for his ticket, so couldn't justified premium economy. We got the double seats at the back, so we have a bit more space. Interes
tingly, the option isn't on offer for our flight back from Vancouver.

The 'bowel' of salmon chowder was a freudian slip? On second thoughts, no, it must have been deliberate.

I'd pay the ?18, looks good! Was that in Premium Economy or Economy? Liked the bit about the Queen sized beds! Hope you have s wonderful trip. I'll catch up with the other blogs today. My phone and iPad have been completely messed up by
the iOS upgrade - no links worked on either and caused apps to freeze. 3 hours on phone to Apple yesterday and can now access links in mail but still not via search engines! Awaiting Apple programmers coming up with a bug fix upgrade. Original upgrade has meanwhile been withdrawn. Anyway that's my excuse for lack of response to your messages!! Have fun! x
