hey if you do a trek email me so i can tell you a good agency to do it with. they'll be happy with me and with you, and they are super nice and man you gotta do a trek through nepal because it's like walking through the moon and antarctica tundra and desert. and the secret garden. and kagbeni, my favorite corner. oh man jessica maybe ill walk up across the bering straight to meet you.
Happy Jessica, your blog today is exceptional! I have read it about three times already. I think back on your uncertainty on which trip you should embark upon and you have to know that you made the absolute right decision in choosing India. I want to spend a day or two with you the next time we see each other just talking about this trip. My inquisitive mind wants to know more. Love and bunches of kisses to you. And a big hello and hug to Natalie.
Oh Jessica! OMG. I was checking at least 10 times every day to see if you had written. Finally.... It is so amazing everything you are experiencing and so inspiring for the rest of us. thank you!
Drinking coffee As I signed on this morrning my biggest wish was that you had started to write about your last 10 days in the retreat.. So my advice to my little girl is go have a nice cup of chai and go deep within so that the words will flow and you can write. On a second note "Happy Birthday" hope you are having the best! Love and hugs to you
so much love for you Last week your mom and Derek called me in the same day to give me your contact info and travel blog. It was so sweet and I really enjoyed talking to both of them. I put your library on the top shelf of my bookshelf and it's like getting flash glimpses into your mental landscape. Loving reading Don Miguel Ruiz right now. Devoured all your blog entries tonight, running on fuel from a grapefruit and mate dinner. You are beautiful and I get so happy I can't stand it reading about you and Natalie on your adventures and full of laughter. wild early morning love, caitlin
Thank you for sharing. Your Mom and I work together. Ruth told me today of your odyssey and suggested I read your blog. I did. I am in awe. You have a wonderful spirit. Your writing is so descriptive that I can almost see the things you "speak" about. When I was your age - 45 or so years ago - I wanted to explore the planet but lacked the courage to do what you are doing. Now I have the courage but my body prohibits me. As a result, I await your blogs so that I can travel vicariously. I will include you in my prayers.

Mesmerizing! Hey guys! This is Spenser, Natalie's Cousin! I don't believe we've ever met before Jessica, but just by reading all of your blogs I can tell that you're a wonderful person!
This whole trip just seems like out of a book--it's so fascinating and I'm so happy for you Natalie! I can tell that you're having such a great time, and I miss you so much!! When I look at the pictures it just seems so unreal--but I know that it must be just life-changing. Stay safe you two and keep up the excellent blogs(I love reading them!) !
Love from BG,
Spens
My legs were shaking too! As I read your blog today it brought tears of joy and sadness to me. I felt I needed to be there with you making sure you are ready for this little journey you are about to embark upon. It appears from your blog you will be in silence for the next 10 days or at least from the outside forces, I would struggle with that one! I hope that once you return you will be on chat so that we can talk about everything you have learned in your retreat. Lots of hugs and kisses to you. xoxoxoxoxooxox
hey hey sis i just now found out about this travel blog thing it seems like your having fun other than the bank and flight it says but i miss you very much and i love your pictures, i wish i was there with you it seems like fun better than this place anyways tell jess i said hello and your other friends too
thank you Hi Jessica, thank you for sharing your experience with us. For all of those who have never dared to do something like this, we really appreciate it. It is truly a treat!!!
Love to you Jessica, I know that you were in Kentucky living prior to your departure and I really didn't see you too often; however, our separation now seems to be different for me. I just want to hug you while sitting and talking with you for hours. I am glad that you are experiencing life changes and the culture of a different world. As I read your blog today, I am sending you a magical bubble that will surround you and keep you very safe on this journey. I am so glad that Natalie is happy and keeps you laughing. When you speak of money and poverty all you say is true; however, all of us make choices and the real truth is that if what we do with our money makes us wake up happy then we are probably doing the right thing at the present time. I had a period in my life that I will call the "giving days" and all three of my children were with me. We lived in El Paso and would go to Juarez on the weekends and give lots of money to the poor, not just our change in our pockets but money that made a difference in their lives. Your dad had given one family enough money to move out of their cardboard house in the hills and into the city with a roof and door! I remember those days very well and the tears that were caused by the happiness from this wonderful thing your dad and I did. The retreat will be great and you will be more enriched upon your leaving the group. I love you very much and still think you need to write a BOOK!
Maybe it's litchi About the juice. It maybe litchi juice. I was about to try it at an Indian restaurant, and the waiter told me that I might not like it b/c it is VERY sweet. So I ended drinking mango lassi which was great.
I love reading your blog.

The way of love is not
a subtle argument.
The door there
is devastation.
Birds make great sky-circles
of their freedom
How do they learn it?
They fall, and falling,
they are given wings.
