Part One 1) Pericles describes it as a democracy and that it is equal. He also says, for example, that no one would get mad at each other because they are doing what they like. 2)Pericles's argument for democracy derives from fundamental principles, such as human equality, because he says how everyone can have a voice in the Athenian democracy. 3) Pericles believes the citizens democracy produces are citizens that are perfect and and very confident. For example, he says "that the individual Athenian in his own person seems to have the power of adapting himself to the most varied forms of action with the utmost versatility and grace..."
