Madhya Pradesh 3 May 2004 Mandu, India "bye-bye" (in a sing-song tone!) what a strange greeting, but...welcoming for a change! it reminded me the Sabiadee of Lao. crossed into Madhya Pradesh state couple of days ago. 1st thing I notice was the feature of some Indians here, they are more look like Eastern European or the central Asian, with light color skin and eye ball. Mandu was the place I choose to 1st visit, a small village on top of a deserted hill, once the capital of the Malwa Empire around the 14th century, a lot of Mughal style architectures, mosque ruins could still be seen in the area, and of course...together with the bye-bye greeting, mandu could easily became one of my favorite place in India. not many tourist came here, perhaps there will be
