And if you want to visit Lhasa, Tibet was one of the most exciting life experiences.
I would recommend it to those able to respect cultural boundaries, and willing to explore the richness and beauty of the indigenous people.

Great read Hi,
This blog is a great read. I am soon travelling to Laos and will probably be making the same loop past Vieng Tong and Sam Neua, so it's interesting to read your tales and see some photos.
Thanks for sharing,

as a Chinese, I can travel freely by bus in most of the area in Tibet. but as a westerner, I think at the moment , you need to sign up with a tour to make the journey.
Im headed to China in two weeks, I was blown away by your pictures. I want to try your route of travel I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction? It seems you weren't using a guide and using busses do have any tips on doing that?
thanks

hi, I don't think they had Lao citizenship, as the authority are quite corrupt up there, all they need is pay money to obtain stay permit.
it was difficult to comment about the Chinese there are supporting the Lao or not. but I think they brought more negative thing than positive, again, it was only my opinion.
Is the Chinesse living in Phonsali-Laos' are they Laos citizen-ship? I am from Laos, but live in the United States since a young boy. I like to know more about Phonsali-Laos, the place where I came from.
I like to know about those chinesse people lives in Phonsali-Laos. Are they Laos citizen or are they supporting the Laos people?
I have nothing against the chinesse people any-how, but I like Laos to be Laos in the future and so...on.
