Bad hangover
Our last night in Cambodia was a heavy one... not a great feeling the next morning, especially when you have to get up at stupid o'clock!!! After an incredible time in Cambodia it was time to bid a fond farewell to one of the countries that has had a profound effect on us both; the warmth and hospitality of it's people (who are still reeling from events of the past) will remain in our hearts and minds forever...
Well, we spent 3 weeks in Vietnam, starting off down the Mekong River from Cambodia to Chau Doc and then Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). We travelled up the Vietnamese coast, stopping off at various places such as Nha Trang (great snorkelling), Hoi An (cheap tailors and even cheaper beers) and finally ending up in Hanoi (rather chaotic, even cheaper beers!) We have been travelling throughout Cambodia & Vietnam with our Norwegian friends Hans and Elisabet, who we met on the Thai/Cambodia border. We all share common interests such as sight-seeing and beer-drinking!
The overnight bus journeys are some of the most uncomfortable ones we've experienced but they are also the cheapest!
Anyway, here's some more pics for you all...
