lots of new photos now up on our blog
arrived in vietnam 2 days ago. in saigon/ho chi minh city at the moment (all the locals call it saigon so we do too). we thought the traffic in phnom penh was nuts but it's nothing compared to here. the road is a sea of motorbikes all day long. during rush hour alot of drivers decide to take a shortcut by driving their bikes on the footpath. crossing the road is nearly always an adventure. i blame the french for building such wide streets.
yesterday we went to the war remnants museum. outside the museum there's a collection of american planes, tanks, helicopters, canons, bombs. inside the museum are mostly photographs taken by journalists which were amazing/horrific. tomorrow we're going to the viet cong tunnels in cu chi a few miles outside the city. during the war they streched all the way to the cambodian border.
we're not sure where we're heading next but we're pretty sure it will have a beach. haven't seen the sea since the start of our holidays so were're looking forward to doing alot of swimming again.
triona has just informed me that she can
put up videos on the blog as well. check out the video from ko pha ngan, it's excellent

From the exotic land of Canadiana
Hey guys, I love your photos! Angkor looked amazing. We're back in the homeland for a few weeks sweating out the hottest August ever (but at least it's a dry heat?), eating extreme amounts of brilliant western cheese and hiding from the redneck oil monkeys that are slowly infesting the entire province. Oh Canada.
