Arrived in Singapore just in time for Diwali and Eid so lots of lights around to make the place look pretty :)

We made a trip to the famous Singapore Zoo, which was a bit disappointing if I am honest. However we did get to see this flower in bloom which apparently only blooms once a year.

We saw so many Wats in Thailand, but I think this was my favourite one.

We hired a bike in Chaing Mai and had lots of fun whizzing around like the locals, don't you think the helmet suits me??!

This is a pic of our pet Gecko, George (from Cambodia). We found him in our bathroom, however the next day we found him on the floor dead, I was really :( There are loads of Geckos around however George was very cute!

These faces lined the entrance to one of the palaces/temples. It is said that there is a strong resemblance to the King that reigned at the time.

Got a bit snappy on this trip but it was truely impressive!

Just about anywhere in Vietnam you can find someone selling something on the streets (always looks so fresh too!), most often fruits of some kind. Just today I saw some guy with a Saw not entirely sure which service he was offering but hey!

Da Lat was a town in the mountains. Was interesting place had a different feel to it..can't quite explain. Anyway they also had a Eiffel tower look alike which was amusing.

There are woman all over the place carrying their goods. They often are tiny but they must be strong as they cart around these goods all day

Did a trip to the Mekong Delta, which was really interesting. Sailed pass a lot of floating villages. Also went to a floating market which was good to see, very different to camden Market!

A local favourite in the Mekong area. I wasn't brave enough to try it but Ivan did, said it tasted disgusting!

Visited the UNESCO heritage site of Halong bay. We didn't get a sunny day but the mist added a cool feel to the place.

Every time we have been on a journey we have passed children on there way from school on bike, must be so much more healthier than British kids!
