Here we are, riding our bikes to the beach in hoi an. the town where you can get anything made within 24 hours or less. Tons and tons of young kids were riding their bikes home from school and we were just in the midst of it. Trish's bike was a little ancient with the seat and handle bars far too high off the ground and the wheel not quite straight making it a little hard to maneover especially when it was my time to ride it! nothing fatal though!

The beach in Hoi An

This beach is filled with people selling stuff who simply won't leave you alone and just when they're about to leave, tell you their name and say "oh maybe later, you never know" with their vietnamese accents. so if you agree and they see you buying something from someone else they're not going to be that impressed and then make you buy something from them. as happened with us. and then there are the old ladies who simply sit there for what seems like ages because they barely speak any english and then finally give up and leave.

We rode around in this once; cause they were just too slow and for me they felt kind of weird . . a man with decades and decades on me and weighing probably less than me pushing me around all day. . . i kept thinking about how it should've been the other way around. so after that i just stuck to motorcycles as my mode of transportation! which i didn't mind a bit!!
