Hi Everyone,

Nate and I are in Ho Chi Minh City after a painless 6-hour bus journey from Phnom Penh. We're staying at the Chau Long Guest House, which was recommended by Lonely Planet, and it's really good. For $12 a night we get A/C, fan, TV, minifridge, and ensuite with hot shower. They're also doing all our laundry for $2, which is really nice because we've been doing it ourselves so far in our guesthouse sinks, and everything wasn't really getting very clean. We're in a really good location, too, down Minihotel Alley, which is filled with cheap guesthouses and a bunch of little restaurants and shops. We had a really good meal tonight at Asian Kitchen, which we chose for it's giant menu and cheap prices (and because it was recommended in Lonely Planet). The only part I wasn't too keen on was all the people who walk right in off the streets and try to sell you everything under the sun, from lighters to books to perfume to "massages" (these were mainly offered to Nate).

Anyway, pictures to follow soon, hopefully. The computers at this internet cafe don't have USB ports, so I'll have to wait until my next post. Bye for now!
