Saigon....few days in hcmc. visited war museum and sights around town. out to the cu chi tunnels wher the vietcong hid during the war and mekong delta.
Nha Trang.....few days on the beach.
Hoi An.....ancient city suprisingly untouched by the war. Very influenced by China with small street ans old houses. Nearby is ruins of Cham site MY Son
Hue.........sight of the ancient citadel, unfortunately severly damaged during the war. Outskirts hold many Royal mausoleums. Acres holding th monarchs and surrounding families tombs. Also Thien Mu Pagoda... monk from here set himself alight in hcmc in protest.
DMZ.........No mans land and border between north and south Vietnam during the war. Sights of old American war bases, many battles and Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Hanoi....capital although not a great deal here. Perfume pagoda on the outskirts at the top of a hill.
Ha Long Bay....two day boat trip around limestone outcrops.
