From HCM to Phu Quoc! Bday on the beach!

So birthday boy is 54 today and we are at HCM airport about to board for Phu Quoc - beach bday bungalow awaits!

We have had a wonderful couple of days in Saigon - feel blessed to have experienced such simplicity amongst craziness!

Cyclotour was a great way to explore the City! From perfumed flower market to fresh stripped sugar cane on the sides of the roads.

We lit a candle and said a prayer at Notre Dame Cathedral for our beautiful niece, Clementine and thanked God for her safe and happy arrival on 16th April at 12.19 pm (6.19 pm V time)!

Had a wonderful full body massage for £3 and snored my head off!

Computer crashed!
Sorry not sure if my comment sent as computer at work crashed, but was saying Happy birthday 54th Michael have a great birthday. Glad you enjoyed HCM, did you go to the Texaco Tower? Hope you have a brilliant and relaxing time in Phu Quoc. I remember going to a lovely restaurant on the beach for dinner, about a mile from the Centre, Paradise! ENJOY. XX

Pam - thank you for commenting on blog - have to say layout of blog page takes some getting used to! It is paradise here, our bungalow is right on the beach, we are so lucky, views are amazing! Thank God for aircon! Temps 37/38!!! We have booked our flights to Hoi An, will look at accommodation today. Massage & fishing today! We may try some fish for our dinner this evening X

Hey guys... loving the blog updates... the photos on fb are truly stunning! It looks like such a beautiful place to be... perhaps this could be a destination for us to work towards!? We are missing you here especially for the Clementine buzz... she is absolutely beautiful and Vicky is a natural and Johnnie makes my heart swell watching him with her! Not so easy to update photos on here, which is a shame! Just booked our next hotel, next stop Hoi An on Friday! It's like a mini backpack tour - bit of a tease but so lucky to see some of this beautiful country! Our first stop from LHR is the Willowbank, she'll be all ours, hands off! X
