Well I can safely say the past 4 days have been the most fun/crazy/memorable/tiring days of our trip yet!
Can't keep track of time or days at all here and the computer has no date on it so its not much help, but I think it would have been Monday when we went to a place called Thap Ba Mud Baths. It was a really nice day out and we hadn't been out the night before so we were feeling fresh as daisys which was nice.
When we got there we had to have a communal mineral shower which was more like a jet wash to make sure we were clean enough to get into the mud.... :S bit strange but we got in and had a quick clean. Sean was still suffering from his sun burn so it was worse for him haha.
Then it was time for the mud bath, we were in a tub with another english couple and two vietnamese women who seemed to think they were on a photography shoot rather than a spa day. Taking hundreds of pictures of each other pouring mud all over their bodies. It was pretty funny and in
the end we were all trying not to laugh because they must have had a whole photo album by the time they got out. Then we had a BOILING hot bath and had to walk through another jet wash but this time even more powerful (OUCH) and then had a chill by the pool and got a bite to eat 😊 so that was fun then went to the beach where the waves were so strong sean got rock burns on his knees where he kept getting wiped out haha.
That night we had another crazy one, and ended up being out until early hours of the morning but met another load of really cool people which was nice!!
Soo.. Tuesday? this was the best day yet!!! We paid $7 for a trip called the four island tour. We had met some people out the night before who had been raving about it so we decided to just go ahead and book it. I was a bit nervous because I didnt know if I would feel sea sick or not but had no need to worry because the sea was so calm and we were way to occupied
to think about feeling ill!
We started off stopping at an island where we went to an aquarium costing about 30p entry and was pretty good, then went to another island where we did snorkelling and a bit of sunbathing for an hour or so and then we got back on the boat, had a fresh sea food lunch which was absolutely deeelicious and then moved to our next stop... the floating bar! SO FUNNY, the boat stopped in the sea and they turned the music up really loud, threw some kind of circular bar into the water where a guy would sit in the middle and serve drinks and then everyone on the boat jumped/dived/flipped into the water and we were all thrown big rings to keep us afloat while we drank the strongest cocktails ever made! Sitting in the ocean surrounded by stunning mountains and music and other travellers it was honestly like being in another world!
We then got back on the boat and had a live vietnamese band who were singing songs from all over the world for all the different nationalities on the boat which was reallly fun and people had to get
Sean getting his hair cut
forgot to mention sean got his hair shaved! Got a video as he was quite scared before as we didnt know what it would turn out like but actually looks alright! up stage and join in which was a laugh, then our last stop was a chilled island where we just had a swim and sunbathe.
We were planning to go out that evening but had had a bit too much sun and were both feeling a bit worse for wear so we just went to a restaraunt down the road and had the best food weve ever eaten! It was so incredibly delicious so we will be going there again tonight! Then had an early night!
And today we decided to go it alone. There was a tour you could do to a place called monkey island and a waterfall but it costs $20 and didnt fancy spending that much so we just hired a moped and did it alone!! I was pertified. The roads are just too crazy, people just drive down the wrong side of the road and massive lorrys drive at 300mph and then beep their horns as lous as they can to move you out of the way, and there we are trundelling along on a little scooter, both never having passed a driving test! HAHA! Anyway, we made it there and back alive
wahoo and had such a good day! I was so excited about going and seeing the monkeys and when we first got there I thought they were so sweet, however I soon realised that was not the case! I bought a packet of crisps and all of a sudden we were surrounded by a whole pack of monkeys squeaking and looking at us very strangely! One tried to grab the pack out of my hands but I managed to grab it back.. 1 nil to me! Then a bit futher down the road I thought I would give a small sweet looking monkey a bit of 1 of my crisps and it grabbed it so ferociously it scratched my hand and made it bleed! 1 all... Then about 5 minutes later we were just standing there looking at some and a MASSIVE male monkey launched itself at Sean baring its teeth and hissing!! 2 - 1! So we left there and got the boat straight back to the main land!
Then we headed a further 10 minutes down the road to a tiny track where the pot holes were huge and the roads were flodded and I kept screaming
because the bike was slipping all over the place, so in the end I got off and walked because the stress was just too much haha. Trecked in the sweltering heat for about 20minutes to find the most beautiful waterfall youve seen! We both got in for a dip and suddenly Sean freaked out and said something was pecking at his feet! So i jumped onto a rock, totally freaked out! Then we realised they were the little fisk that bite the dead skin off your feet so we both got a free pedicure hahaha!
Came back and now were about to go out for dinner before we make our way up on a sleeper train to Danang which takes about 10 hours 😞 But hopefully we will sleep through most of it!

OMG - YOU HAVE RABIES from your Monkey scratch! It won't be long now until you are running from the sight of water and screaming like a lunatic! ha ha! Sean must look weird with a blad head and earring - like Sinead O'Connor in the 90's :). . . All looks amazing, loving the mud bath, healthy food and free fish nibbling at your feet - you needed to pay a lot for that at Wild Wadi - remember? Was at an exhibition all day today for New Business start ups and was really good, but very tiring! Oh yes, I got fired on Tuesday! Well, my contract was 'ended early' ! So so happy no more work for me and I can concentrate on my property business. I am now Managing Director of SES Investments Ltd! I was giving out lots of business cards today and everyone said how professional they looked. Sxxx
