Despite the chaotic events prior to boarding the bus, it was a rather comfortable journey. Managed to sleep! Well, it was either that, or risk being a zombee by tomorrow after a 9 hours odd journey 😊

Arrived Nha Trang at around 06:00. Initially, we had groggily walked towards the wrong side of town, we were supposed to walk towards the beach not away from it. And while heading in the right direction, we were stopped by yet another Mr Moto, who offered to take us to a nice cheap hotel. After awhile we obliged. We checked out the room - spotless, odourless, hot water and all. Not bad for USD7.

We rested for a while, before heading out in search of sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. It was about 9 something, and we got ourselves served coffee at this stall which was about to close - the lady kept shooting us a dark look of impatience while we were struggling to chew and chow down our hard as rock baguettes. Geez, she should have told us before we sat down, but I guess she wanted to pocket that 13,000D before calling it a day! Pfft!

So, what to do in Nha Trang? Thap Ba mud bath! Though not quite as bad as the Cu Chi tunnels, signboards leading to the mud baths were also pretty elusive. We were about to give up on looking for the damned place, when we chanced upon the correct junction leading us there. Well, I guess that's the price you have to pay when you're being a motorcycle hero and all, armed with only a photocopied map you got from the hotel reception 😉

To sum it all up, we : -

1. Soaked in mineral mud
2. Dried off mineral mud coating under the sun
3. Spray off dried mineral mud with mineral water (high powered spray)
4. Soak in warm mineral water - for some reason I was starting to feel restless and giddy in the tub
5. Sit under the waterfall for a quick massage - au naturel
6. Swim a bit in mineral water swimming pool
7. Take a nap 😊

Apparently we took a different route to get back to the hotel. As we were getting hungry, we stopped by one of those roadside stalls, asked the lady what she had and took our

seats. It was a yummy vietnamese version of chee cheong fun. After polishing it off in no time, we ordered a second serving 😊

Went back to our room, stared at the four walls a bit, and decided to take a walk along the beach, and take some pictures. Also stopped by one of the dive centres to enquire about their diving packages. Kind of expensive if you ask me, and the water was probably too cold for diving anyway (Don't let the pictures fool you, it only looked HOT, but the wind was really cool 😊

After yet another round of wall staring, we decided to go out to look for our bus tickets to Hoi An. Just a few minutes away from thehotel, we found Sinh Cafe. And in it, a few tourists trying to return their bus tickets to Hoi An. Apparently there was a mix up at time of booking, and now they have 3 extra tickets to Hoi An, for the 8 pm bus. Since there was nothing else to do in Nha Trang, we decided to get the tickets from them at a discounted price of 200,000D. Which also meant we had less than an hour to pack up, check out, grab a meal and be on our way! What an adventure indeed. I still remember the look on their face when we said we wanted to check out, as we had arrived just 13 hours before, hee 😊

The bus journey was (again) uneventful. One thing worth mentioning was the restaurant we stopped by at midnight, it was called "BEAUTYFUL SEA PRONT RESTAURANT"

hee 😊
