Today - a last minute decision - we decided to ditch the bus to Dalat, and stay here onnne morre day... so that we could once again rent a motorbike! sorry parents (Dad, I know you hate this more than my poor grammar), but it is the greatest way to experience the gorgeous seaside/country side/ country roads... and despite the fact that were horrible (or non) drivers at home, we seem to be fitting in quite well on the Mui Ne streets... love it! SO MUCH FUN! and it was rather easy to learn, too... easier than driving a car! Don't worry - we go under 40 all the time, and wear giant helmets... and we defenitely are extremely careful about the weaving traffic... haha. but seriously, this is the best place to rent a bike of this sort... more beautiful driving than nova scotia, i reckon... So today we went to see some pagodas (more than 1000 yeas old... they were near the old military lookouts)... and then biked around. Actually, far down the road there are a looot of fancier resorts, and a nightclub and a billion other new places are currently being built. Defenitley turning into a Cancun or smething in the future... but for now, the women in cone-hats still roam the streets, there are still cows on the beach, and we still get served at restaurants by women with children on their arms, or by the children themselves (who dont really speak english). Today, also, we managed to find a restaurant that wasn't full of westerners. It was on the beach... beautiful. And yesterday we had this amazing fried "grouper fish"? ginger-y, spicy... delish. Today we also met an interesting couple from westdale, whose father owns the jewish bakery! how cool is that? tata for nowww... :D
