We decided to take the long way to Nairobi, so visited Paul's parents in New Zealand and then mine in Vietnam. Our first trip out of Hanoi (where mum and dad are) was to Sapa, which is up in the mountains. Tam Coc

Tam Coc means three caves, it's a few hours outside Hanoi. We were rowed through the 3 caves, some great views.

I realised when I arrived to get on the boat that i needed a hat, so our driver helped me buy this rather ill fitting cap. But at least I got a reasonable price and was being sun smart.
