So, we finally got to bed at 2.30am after a Karaoke Vietamese style! Arrive at Sapa at 6.30am and as you can imagine were all pretty jaded! arrived at our hotel which was lovely - looking out of the Sapa countryside.

No rest for the wicked - we went straight out trekking with our guide and a dozen hill tribe women. they walk with you all day - have a standard of three questions each in English and then try to sell you their handicrafts at the end of the day. In the end we were telling them we were from Kasikstan...it passed the time!

Sapa's scenery is stunning and we were very lucky with the weather as it was really clear. we trekked here for two days before getting the sleeper train back to Hanoi. Not surprisingly we didnt sleep so well on it sober!
xx
