Done with Hanoi, Head for Ha long and Cat ba Island. To book full tour or not to book a tour that is the question! From our recent experiences I say no just wing it! So we did for the very next day booked a bus trip only to Ha Long Bay. We were tired, unenthusiastic and basically worn out from the high stress sales positions we both held. Being treated badly by companies where the catchcry is 'It's just business, nothing personal'. Our faith in the system had run dry. We couldn't feel anything anymore, totally drained of emotion. But in the last year we have earned the right to say that we are living, feeling human beings again. And to travel and witness purity and innocence has been most rewarding. One morning, Lynne wanted a cino after brekky, on our way to GJ's in Hanoi there was an odd rucus. A crazy Russian guy had made his way to Vietnam lost all his money persuading border guards to let him in and was now singing in the street trying to get the Vietnamese to give him some money for food....Ironic and funny. I bought him brekky and chatted for a while.
