Citadel Entrance

Jumped on a night sleeper bus from Hanoi, arrived an hour late from Ha Long Bay, but they were still waiting for me which was cool, otherwise i'd of stayed in Hanoi for the 1000 celebration. 12 hours on a bumpy uncomfortable bus (nightmare), got about 2 hours kip, therefore when I arrived at Hue at 10am it was a case of check in and slowly walk around the citadel. Citadel was alright. They are currently doing alot of renovation so lacks a bit of charm. Headed out for a few drinks in the evening to a club with some folks from the hostel. Came back feeling pretty alright as I managed to pase myself.

Next day headed out on a 'Hue City Tour' which was pretty boring headed back to the citadel, then visited a Pagoda and a little stroll on the river. Hue was kept quiet that night as it was Hanoi celebrations, so got talking to the hostel owner and he gave out a few free drinks which was cool. Then myself and an Irish girl I met on the tour headed to the same bar as the previous night and it all ended in tears, being

sick at the hostel.

Had to get up at 10am for a 'Hue Village tour', hung over i checked my phone and it was 10.10am put the previous nights clothes on and ran downstairs, luckily again the guide was waiting. They so desperately need the money they don't mind waiting. He took me to some temples, tombs which was very nice, but was so hung over couldn't really appreciate it. That night the owner set up Oktoberfest for all the peeps coming down from Hanoi. Had to pass as i was ruined.

Hue was ok, not much in the city, need to head out of tours otherwise its just getting drunk at the numerous happy hours flying round.
