After a 12 hour bus jeourney we reached Phuket Town this morning. We took a VIP bus for the trip, but being both 6ft tall - we were counting minutes to get off 😊 A short taxi ride away we got us to Patong Beach where we found a great accomodation with a/c, own bathroom, TV, fridge and 2 big beds came handy after the long bus ride 😊 For future reference I'll try to include prices and names of the hotels as people are sending me messages on facebook asking me about accomodation and prices in Thailand. The room can be booked at info@chongkotravel.com and originally was 750B, but we got it for 500B. Patong beach is nothing to write home about - many rental chairs with umbrellas (300B) all over the beach make you almost forget you're in a beautiful nature. It's full of tourists - the kind of tourists you don't want to be around... It was overcast when we were there so after a short swim and a few hours exploring the place we bought a boat ticket to Phi Phi Island - my favourite place in Thailand (so far) 😊 I have great memories from Phi Phi thanks to the people I met on my previous trip 😊
