Edit Blog Post

ok, so its been a few days but i am asboluitely broke and havent been able to get to a computer. deal with the typing...this keyboard sucks and i cant ever see the letters. 1. kelly ann meyer...never joke with me that you are preggo. not funny. an email would be a horrible way tot find out. speaking of babies and such i just got my period and leave for camodia in like 8 hours. nothing like squatting over a whole bleeding to death (ok...too much. im sorry) katie...i legit will look into the blog thing. i have one on journal home or something...whatever celia uses but i only have one entry., whoops. perhaps i will start that and put up all of my stuff from spain too. we will see.

ok, updates. went out to a sweet air conditioned (wootwoot) club in a hotel with some of the students. got drunk. danced a TON. the dancing here is like 80s punk mixed with 70s flair. awesome. so fun. the next day i was quite hung over and honestly just worn out from this whole teaching and touring business, so i played hooky with a couple (guy and girl from ball state). we went and layed out at the pool then went to lunch and i went shopping for souvenirs and spent every last cent that i had. damn it. then i took a 7 hour nap from pure exhaustion, the rest of the group came home,. i grabbed dinner, then went to sleep for another 8 hours. gooo beth. the next day was like a field days thing where i sweated a ridic amount. i sweat buckets when i am sitting and teaching, let alone participating in a potato sack race (this is true. i sucked). we came back and showered and relaxced, then went back to campus for closing ceremonies. the kids put on skitsd which were aweeesome. the teachesr taught them the macarena then impersonated a thai boy band. they wyelled for more, so i obviosuly rapped the fresh prince of bel air theme song. yes...you read it correctly. i rapped. in thailand. with a mic. on a stage. bambam. we went out again that night and thigns got crazy. i had the equivalent of a makeout in thailand with a student. i think he was 20. hopefully 21 to soothe my ego a bit. and when i say thai makeout, i mean just pecking because people here are all big prudes. it probably wouldve sucked anyway. oh yeah, and he has a huugeee afro. go beth. haha

this morning we flew back to bangkok and i swam and napped a lot. these twin girls (who i love) and i went out to eat, had a few beers and decided to get a thai massade, which costs 200 baht...or 7 dollars. for an hour long massage. its not like an american massage where they rub you down, its more like stretching and applying pressure to pressure points. things i didnt know about thai massage before i committed\:

1. accidental bopob grazing is totally acceptable.
2. apparently the crease where your leg meets your vagina is a pressure poinbt which requires constand pressure for close to 2 minutes. i was shaking with laughter. awwwwwkward.
3. this is the best part. after random thai woman like stands on my handstrings and walks on my back, she takes her hands and separates my butt cheeks...and this is where tipsy beth lost it. i was in the same room as the twins, and they didnt understand why i had uncontrolable giggles.

also, you wear like a button up loose shirt. mine was missing a middle button,. stomach level, so i thought nothing of it, until she rips my backwards to crack my back, the shirt raises up and i flash the other massuese. in this conservatgive culture where a b cup is being stacked. haha gooo me.

laving my students was actually sadder than i thought it would be. i got a lot of postacards and little presents and a bunch of them cried. at the ceremony they did have a concer tand ecveryone was dancing like crazy. took my back to hoemcoming days. haha

overall, great time.., its 10 pm here and i leave at 630 am for cambodia with no adults in tow. (am i an adult?) hopefully things will work out alright and iw ill make it back to the US in one piece!
