A group of us took a relaxing holiday in Phuket in November 2004. Patong Beach is a great long stretch of white sand and market stalls and hotel bars run along the stretch of road, so you get the best of both worlds. The days activities consist of a lie in, a morning swim in the ocean, followed by a cheap massage by the beach, a touch of shopping, head back to the hotel for lunch and a drink at the swim up bar, take an afternoon nap or read a good book, then head out for a night of fun at the famous Bangla Road area of Patong, enjoy a touch of people watching here is facinating.....plus you are sure to find "anything" you need, if you know what we mean.
