Well, we made it to Koh Phi Phi and it is beautiful. We should probably talk about our last few days since we have been absent for a while. From Bangkok we ventured to Pattaya pronounced Pa - Tie - Ya. This place is absolutely one of the craziest places on earth. Where should we start.......hmmmm. How about 2000 beer bars in a five mile radius surrounded by beaches! Needless to say we enjoyed every minute. We saw Muay Thai fighting and Cannon won 100 baht betting on the fight. We saw quite a few ladyboys which was a little frightening. Oh, and the let's just say that there were plently of Go Go bars to choose from 😊

From Pattaya we headed back to Bangkok to catch a flight to Krabi in the south. There is an interesting boarding process. No seat assignments just get on line and go. The plane ride was about an hour and half and when we landed we knew there was something different about this place. It seemed to be a quite a bit more civilized place compared to Bangkok and Pattaya. After a 30 minute cab ride we arrived at our hotel which was great. Krabi is on the Andaman Sea which is totally awesome. We took a long boat to a few islands and the pictures you will see are of Chicken Island - note the chicken shaped rock formation and Koh Pada. The sand was like powder and the Singha (beer) flowed like water!

Now we are at Kho Phi Phi. The movie "The Beach" was filmed on an nearby island and for those who are a little older, the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" was also filmed nearby.

We plan to explore the surrounding islands and the beach so we gotta go now!
