While sitting here blogging yesterday two beautiful Aussie girls, Kirsty and Sophie, sat down next to me. We struck up conversation and I found out the two are on holiday and have been so since July. They told me all about their adventures, what they saw, where they stayed. Kirsty told me about Blue Grotto in Southern Italy, the place sounds amazing. I asked them if they had Limoncello, and we shared stories about that. They were nice enough to join me for dinner; so I dined with two gorgeous Australian girls on the ocean front sharing stories of travel over amazing Thai food and we each had a Red Bull vodka. Red Bull syrup is much different than what we have in the States and is banned in some countries. Kirsty and I lied to Sophie and told here that we had signed her up to sing karaoke at Sawadee restaurant that I have wrote about previously. Sophie is a fantastic singer. I would not do it justice to describe how bad of a set up this is, but I will say that the music accompaniment is some kind of synthesized electric piano… so horrible. Sophie and I sang a

We were eating the coconut meat with our straws. I got a nice action shot here. few songs and had a lot of fun with it. After we got booed off stage we came back for happy hour and enjoyed the most amazing cocktail. Under a coconut tree, it is fresh coconut with the top cut off that they pour rum into and drop in a few ice cubes. I enjoyed their company over a few of these drinks, talking about their lives back home and just enjoying our surroundings. We called it a night about Midnight. I hope to meet up with them again tonight.
This morning I woke up for sunrise again. They are just too unbelievable to miss one. After a short run I went back to bed for an hour before departing on my second day of SCUBA.
Paula picked up three other divers last night so Daniela, Paula and I had some company on this dive. There were also four Romanians who joined us on this trip; they only snorkeled though. One of the other divers is an American from Las Vegas, Pat. Pat was formerly married to a dive instructor and had great dive stories to share. Right now Pat lives in Puerto Vallarta and was great enough
to extend to me an invitation only for emailing her the photos I took on the dive.
Both dives today were absolutely amazing. The highlight of the first dive for me was watching a sea turtle eat soft bubble coral. Good stuff there. My dive lasted about thirty five minutes and we went about 45 feet down and through a man made reef. By the reef were batfish, these batfish would swim to you and interact, all it took was ones wiggling of two fingers and they swam right up. I had to surface early because I use air pretty quickly, this worked out pretty well, because I just swam back to the boat and did a few tricks off of it into the sea.
Canyon Rock was our second dive site. And as the name implies we swam through a fifty/sixty foot canyon. The coral attached all the way up both sides. We also had a very brief cave excursion. Very impressive. There was a huge moray eel at the bottom of the drop who was out and fairly active for the time of day. The rest was just coral and many fish tucked up on these

Right now I am heading up to Sunset Bar to watch the sunset on the west side of the island. I’ll have more to say later.
