We got the ferry onto Koh Phi Phi, which were the set of islands used for the film The Beach. After a thankfully calm trip on a bit of a dodgy looking ferry we arrived on the main island Phi Phi Don. We got an air-con room for over twice the price we paind on Phuket but it was worth it. Asides from the Tsunami damage which is still very apparent on the north side of the town, you can see why people come here and don't want to leave. It's still a lovely island but only backpackers seemed to have returned. We got to go over to the other island Koh Phi Phi Leah and do some snorkelling and visit some of the crab eating macaques that live on Phi Phi Don but they seem to just eat what tourists give them and so much crabs.
