Two girls off to see the world after an intense last year at uni! Starting in Thailand with a few days exploring and elephant trekking amongst other things then up to the Burmese border for 4 weeks to work with orphaned children; generally caring for them, helping build a shelter, teaching English and taking part in research about prevention and how best to help amongst other things.
After this its down through Thailand, Malaysia and eventually Singapore to fly to Sydney and have Christmas on the beach! And then...who knows!... full info
Near death experienceCarla post very close shave! Seeme we sat too close to the fire show...they sometimes let go of their fireballs! Carla was well and truely lassoed by one and luckily managed to unravel it and live to tell the tale! Several more fire sticks/ balls flew in our direction...note...front row at a fire dancer is not neccesarily good!
Goodbye Thailand!!Off to Malaysia tomorrow afterfalling in love with this country. Beaches are amazing but Mae Sai and our placement blew me away, the kids were incredible. Will be back there as soon as I can, Claire xx
