The beach
Amanda at 'the beach'!! We took a long tail boat as part of the trip but we arrived after the sun went behind the huge cliffs not the same effect as the movie!!Hello everybody!! Well we left bangkok a while back now and headed for the Krabi region staying in Ao Nang and Tonsai beach before heading to Kho Phi Phi which is were we are currently residing in the Tropical Gardens resort!!! Since getting the overnight sleeper train (our seats turn into bunk beds, quite an experience) we had a bit of luxury in Ao Nang for very cheap and went out on a sea Kayaking tour to several islands including Hong Island!!! The rest of the time was spent enjoying the beach life of Railay!!
Since we have been in Phi Phi we have taken a boat tour round the islands, which included Phi Phi Lei (where the beach was filmed) and enjoyed a night out with the guys on our boat!! It was the black moon party at hippies bar (opposite to full moon party) which included drinking buckets of thai whisky red bull and coke dancing on tables and riding on each others shoulders, needless to say we are still recovering 2 days on!!! Phuket next when we can be bothered to move. Phi Phi has such a unique atmosphere and is recovering quickly from the Tsunam which
