Is the catch phrase at the moment-one bungalow is the same as another just different!

We arrived late last night in KPN, with no where to stay as it is FMP time now and everywhere is booked solid. We had to stay in a bungalow which was not very nice- its amazing how much a bit of paint and clean white bedsheets can make all the difference. We got up early and went to find somewhere else- but at 7 this morning we kind of realised that everyone had just gone to sleep- no where was open even for breakfast!

We did another of our famous hikes up the mountainside and managed to find ourselves a really lovely bungalow for 500 Baht- luckily before the price inc for the FMP. We went to Thong Sala today, excited by the prospect of shopping and supermarkets ( how basic we have become) but were disappinted with what they had to offer- I think we have been spoilt so far- unfortunately there was no Boots ( the chemist), like in Bangkok, but then there wasn't much else either!

Tomorrow we are going on the Reggae boat trip around the island-it starts at 12 so hopefully we can have a lie in, but knowing the two of us it's is unlikely!

Yes, we had to hike all that way up the mountain to get home after a night out, which wouldn't have been soo bad if there were lights on the way up!
