We Travel... Some of us Forever




To this very day of my life, I’ve always wanted to see new countries and cities, experience new journeys and be forever on the

road. I’ve wanted to take these experiences, the places I’ve seen, the stories, the people and to write about them and much, much

more. I wanted to be to others a path, ajourney, a road. I wanted us to know, that travel is a necessity, that it isn’t hard, that it is

cheaper than many other things in our life, that we grow when roads cross and intersect, that when we discover new places our

horizons broaden, our dreams become evermore limitless. I wanted us to know that when we meet new people, we embrace foreign

lives, we show and learn empathy, we laugh, we build our unending ability to learn and make commitments, we find out that those

who are not of us are not different any from us. Even if the world seems dauntingly large, it is actually very small.Even if there are

borders all over it, that small world is ours and it is waiting for us. Because, when we discover, life reminds us that we are hungry

to live with more excitement and more curiosity. The length of our journeys bring us closer to ourselves. Start from somewhere,

hold a light, first to your ownpath, then to those of others. Be that light.







Hayatımın son gününe kadar, yeni ülke ve yeni şehirler görmek, yollarla buluşmak, seyahatlerde sonsuz olmak isteyen biri olarak;

bundan sonra gidip gördüğüm yerleri, hikayelerini, insanlarını ve çok daha fazlasını yazarak insanlara yol olmak istedim. Seyahatin

gerekliliğini, zor olmadığını, hayatımızdaki birçok şeyden ucuz olduğunu, yollar katettikçe içimizin de büyüdüğünü, yeni yerler

keşfettikçe ufkumuzun genişlediğini, hayallerimizin sınırsızlaştığını... Yeni insanlarla tanışınca, yabancı hayatları benimsemeyi, empati

kurmayı öğrenmeyi, gülümsemeyi, bağlılığı, bitmeyen öğrenme yetimizi ve bizden olmayanın bizden farksız olduğunun farkında olalım

istedim. Dünya çok büyük gibi görünse de aslında çok küçük... Heryerinde sınırlar olsa da o küçük dünya bizim ve her zaman bizi

bekliyor. Çünkü, keşfettikçe hayat daha heyecanla yaşama bağlanmayı, öğrenmeye aç olduğumuzu hatırlatıyor. Yolların uzunluğu

bizi daha çok kendimize yaklaştırıyor. Siz de bir yerden başlayın ve önce kendi yolunuza, sonra başkalarının yoluna ışık tutun, ışık

olun...
