Hello
It's not even been a week yet, but it really does feel like longer! We are both now in Chiang Mai, which is northern Thailand. We traveled by bus from Bangkok through the night which took nine hours, a bit hairy but generally ok.
Today we had a Thai cooking class, which involved cooking and EATING six Thai dishes, it was sooooo good and tasty. Hopefully i might remember a thing or two and be able to cook a real green thai curry on my return.
Tomorrow we are off on a two day trek, which will involve lots of walking, seeing a couple of waterfalls, an elephant ride and bamboo rafting. Hopefully get to meet more travellers too and it will be nice to see life outside the city!
Chiang Mai is less hectic than Bangkok and the night markets here are amazing, if fact they are so good i do believe that my back pack will not be staying at it's healthy weight of 9kg whoops .........
