Just a little Christmas flair!
Dear loved ones,
While spending the holidays away from home seems like it is becoming the norm in our lives, one thing remains true; we love you, miss you and think of you often. We hope everyone is enjoying this special time of year. We love all the feedback we are getting from our blog and it really encourages us to keep writing, so thank you. We would love to hear what is happening in your lives as well, so please send us a message whenever you have a chance. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from Southeast Asia!
Love,
The Jacks (Laura & Aaron)

Our next post is coming very soon.

Happy Christmas from Blighty!
Merry Christmakkah to you and I am so enjoying following along on your journey. I am old so it just dawned on me that I could send a response. We are all in London for Christmas this year (Nick and Cole flew in on the 16th) and we have had boatloads of snow so our trip to Germany for the Christmas markets was cancelled. We did however build a snowman, go for a very cool snowy walk, have a Sunday roast at our local (pub) and many other great fun family events. Our peaceful Christmas day of just wandering around in pj's and sipping champagne while playing games and hanging out was a first and we loved every minute of it. I am so glad you are having such a great time and I am living vicariously through you. What a great way to start your married life and what memories it will give you forever. We may stay in London one more year so maybe next year you two wanderers can make your way here to see us and get a little European continent into your photo album. Take care, be safe and we love you. Crista and all the boys.

As I read your about your Honeymoon trip and the fun and excitement it is bringing to your lives, it has taken me back to the days when I took each of my sons to Europe. We flew to Frankfurt, rented a car and spent two weeks "going and experiencing".....no reservations, no specifit agenda, etc......these were "father/son trips" following high school graduations. Please know that the two of you are in my prayers. UT

Missed you!
Hey guys! Just got home from the annual gathering of the clan at Mom and Bob's house. Things just felt odd without you and the rest of everyone there. On the other hand, I am loving your adventure. Tromping around Southeast Asia without a care or responsibility sounds like heaven. Your writing brings back many childhood memories. I wish my parents had let us eat the street food...you brave souls! I think we really missed out on some great treats. Vicariously enjoying your foodie adventures and your more adventuresome pursuits has been great fun. Keep us posted. Adventure on! Fondly, Karen
