i'm never going on a trek again!!!

Hey all, hope u like all of the pics which ive added, got lots more but it takes so long to upload them (excuses, excuses!). Ok, so since my last update, i have (by some miracle) managed to do a 3 day 2 night trek in Pai. I have never been so knackered in all of my life, i knew it would be trying, but seriously, it was exhausting. The walk was the hardest part, several hrs a day of just going up and down extremely steep hills....ok i'll admit it i'm just so unfit! It was hilarious, there were about 12 in our trekking group and me, nikki and danielle were always at the back...even 2 smokers (they were german too!!) were in front of us.

Anyway, with the exception of the walking, it was lots of fun. As you can see by the pics, we rode elephants, went rafting and played drinking games with some of the local tribes. Rafting was cool and we almost stayed dry until the last 10 mins when the thai men that were steering the rafts, thought that it would be amusing to jump on our raft and then push we in. It was horrible, alsorts of things were floating in the water 😞

When we got back from our little adventure we just relaxed for a day (or 2!) and went out on a big session last night. Nikki got so so so drunk (ok, so did i!) i nearly lost my purse and my way home but all-in-all, lots of fun.

We are on our way to Laos tomorrow, not looking forward to the journey, we dont get there until wed evening. We will prob spend just over a wk there as it is supposedly a great place with lots of things to do. They only have 1 (yes 1!) ATM and so i'm sure we will have some fun with that one.
