The boat trip takes two days (about 7 hours each day) so we stay over for a night here. The hotel we stayed at didn't have bathrooms in the rooms, just these ones outside. Good thing the room was cheap!

Micheal borrowed my camera while I was getting some Z's and took this great shot: I think the kid on the left has polio. Sad, because the medicine's readlily available in most places. But Laos is one of the world's least developed countries, so this kind of stuff still happens.

NEW YEAR 2007
Check out my blog in Feb for a new years you guys would have enjoyed. Why Feb??? because I in Vietnam and the computers are run by BIG RATS. Then they cook them up for the tourists once they can not generate enough energy to turn the computers on.
