The litlte friends that Sarah made
Hi Everyone,

We've done a lot in the past two days! We took a longtail boat across the river and went over to Wat Arun which was really beautiful. Then, a local police officer suggested his favorite temple to us so we went and it was stunning! It sparkled so bright that you had to wear sunglasses. You could sit on the dock and feed hundreds of giant catfish as an offering to the temple, it was great. While there Sarah made friends with some local school boys, they were really sweet.

Then we went over to the snake farm where we got to hold different types of snakes and watch how they wilk them for their venom. It was pretty interesting.

We went to Patpong to see a "show". Don't really know how to describe it. A little weird to say the least. We also did a bit of shopping which made our backpacks much heavier.

We also went to a really nice spa. Sarah said that it's the best spa that she's ever been to and she's been to a lot! Vince enjoyed it as well. The rooms were so beautiful and they treated us

One of the many beautiful temples located in Bangkok
like gold and really took their time to make sure we were relaxed.

We ended up switching rooms in the hotel because the bathroom has a major leak on the floor which started giving Sarah a strange foot fungus, yuck, but it's all gone now. Our new room is much better but we still don't have a proper shower and our sink is on a balcony. Weird.

Yesterday we took a 3 hour bus ride to Lopburi. The bus ride was painful. They like to watch bad Thai comedy shows at full volume for the whole 3 hour journey. As soon as Sarah stepped out of the vehicle at Lopburi a monkey attacked her. A local man had to throw his coconut at the monkey to get him off. The rest were really cute though and when you go to the temple where all the monkeys hang out they give you sticks to fight them off if you need to. They were actually very good with humans and were taking oranges and bananas rright from our hand.

Today we're taking a plane to Chiang Mai so we'll update you guys in a couple of days.

This is Wat Arun. It was beautiful and well worth the boat ride to get there. The stairs were blocked off though so no one could walk up to the top

Name of spa
Hello! The spa's website is www.spabangkok.net. I went to their new location, the Samsen location and we had package #4 which I highly reccomend. They will give you a 15% discount if you are two or more people and they also pay for your taxi to and from the spa. I hope you get a chance to go, you'll really enjoy it
