Making use of the free internet while i can as heading into deepist darkest Thailand soon.
Went to a "real" thai market which will give me nightmares for a while! will try to download a video clip of a bucket of toads ready to be boiled! Ive had pork knuckle soup and deep fired chicken knee so far, im literally dreaming about a simple spag bol.
Finally got the hang of riding a Tuk Tuk.....hold on and hope nothing hits you, or the driver doesnt swerve to avoid a snake, see pic!
Made our way to some waterfalls over the last few days. Its a welcome treat after trekking through forest and avoiding the jungle leaches (flip flops and summer dresses might not be the sensible option!). Managed to climb to the top of a waterfall, but lost my balance and slid all the way down, losing the skin on my left bum cheek. Got to use my handy first aid kit (cheers Colette & Kev) for the first time though, thank god for savlon!
Visited Thailands larget Dairy farm yesterday and got to milk a cow for the first time ever! Also been horse riding, met
a Thai Cowboy and made ice-cream, it was all a bit surreal.
Stopped at a Tesco Lotus to stock up on suncream before doing a bit of quad biking. I'll be glad to finally get to the beach in 2 weeks so i can have a bit of a rest and feel like i am actually on holiday!

amazing
how the frick do you manage to look so beautiful in that kind of heat? your trip looks so so amazing, i am very jealous. beats being stuck in an office with moaning old women. sophie has a trip to leeds next weekend! ha ha. i am very impressed that you milked a cow for the first time in thailand and not bath, but my most favourite photo has to be the tall monkey with a winged face.
